Advertising and affiliate links

DIN-Formate.info is free and is funded by advertising and affiliate links. This page explains how we label advertising and how you can advertise with us.

How we label advertising

Ads
Google AdSense ads carry the heading “Advertisement”. Google selects them, and we have no say over individual ads.
Amazon links
Links to Amazon are affiliate links and are marked with an asterisk (*). If you buy something through them, we receive a commission. The price stays the same for you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Recommendation boxes
The “Useful supplies” boxes are labelled “Advertisement”. We decide which kinds of products to show, to match the topic of the page. Manufacturers do not pay to be included.
Editorial content
Text, tables and calculators are independent of advertising. We never publish paid content without labelling it.

Amazon links on this site go to amazon.de, the German Amazon store, which also delivers to the UK and many other countries.

Advertising on DIN-Formate.info

Our readers are people who are about to print, post, pack or design something: offices and freelancers, designers, students, teachers and buyers in print and logistics. They arrive with a specific question and are often close to a purchase, such as paper, envelopes, frames or a print job.

We offer partnerships for companies in printing, paper, packaging and office supplies, for example as clearly labelled sponsorship notes on related topics. Current audience figures and terms are available on request. Get in touch via the contact page.

What we do not do

  • No paid reviews and no test wins for money.
  • No advertising disguised as editorial content.
  • No pop-ups and no ads that cover content.
